I needed this today.  Time to reNew You!  (Or me in this case).  Anyways I enjoyed reading through here and reminding myself what it means to do some Self-Care.

New to MS?  or want to feel better with your existing MS?   Time to Conquer MS with Self-Care.

There is so much to cover with this title which is why my new book is in production!   But in the meantime take a look at these comments and tips.  Most tips below are linked to articles that I have written as a Patient Expert, Health Journalist and Life Coach.  Please click on the link to see studies, articles and more.

Conquer MS with Self-Care

1.  Take a deep breath.  It will all be OK.  You are in for a change, but the levels vary for everyone.  Just know that things will get better and life will continue.  MS hits everyone different.  It will be important to be very compassionate toward yourself and your life as this disease unfolds.

1.    Find a good neurologist – an MS specialist.
2.    Understand you are going through a change.
3.    Emotional balance may seem to slip away – seek help.
4.    Talk with your MS Dr. regarding Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs)more
5.    Love YourSelf!  Its good for MS!
6.  Check out My Favorite Resources Page - full of supplements that have worked for me.  I am not a doctor and these are affiliate links. But this routine has helped me for awhile now.

2.  Modifiable risk factors:

MRF's are choices we have control over. Things we can start or quit depending upon our needs.  While none of these in particular cause MS, there is substantial proof that the following actions are beneficial for MS patients:

1.    If you smoke cigarettes, quit.
2.    Reduce, respect or quit alcohol.
3.    Limit salt intake.
4.    Reduce, respect or quit caffeine
5.    Do not use artificial sweeteners such as aspartame  (excitotoxins)
6.    Take additional Vitamin D(if low)
7.    Take Vitamin B12 (if low)
8.    Talk to your doctor about an NRF2 activator such as Protandim™ to fight oxidative stress.
9.    Eat a healthy diet.  Nutrition is everything!
10.Eat a diet high in fish
11.Talk your doctor about Taking probiotics– health begins in our gut.
14.High-dose biotin and potential for MS. My FAVORITE high dose biotin is Myetin.  Click to Order. (affiliate link)
15.Creating your own health:  using diet and nutrition to help MS

My FAVORITE probiotic:  VisBiome.

3.  Complementary therapies that might interest you:

3.   Massage

Hello Caroline Craven, I know multiple sclerosis can cause blurred vision, loss of balance, poor coordination, slurred speech, tremors, numbness, extreme fatigue, problems with memory and concentration, paralysis, and blindness and more. These problems may be permanent or may come and go.

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2014 but had my first symptoms in 2012. both my legs were spasming mostly at night which made sleeping difficult. I tried Copaxone for about 5 years or so. The Copaxone causes joint pain, I have tried several types of medications but all made me sick. In 2019 I went to a care facility, life was too difficult at home for my husband and family. I was advised by one of the nurse at the care facility to try natural treatments, She introduced me to Mayaka Herbal Clinic, spoke to my husband about it and he went online to research, My husband read lots of positive reviews from other people who used the product from Mayaka Clinic, We decided to start me on the treatment. Its been 7 months since I completed the treatment, It has made a tremendous difference for me. all my symptoms including poor vision, pain, fatigue, and other symptoms stopped Visit Mayaka Herbal Clinic website ww w . mayakaherbalclinic .com

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in October 2011, at the age of 44. I woke up one morning with numbness in my lower back and legs, I couldn't feel my feet touching the floor. I saw my doctor and had an MRI to see if I had a disc problem, it was negative and she told me she feared MS. I was sent to a neurologist, had two more MRIs, and was told that night that I have four lesions on my spine MS. I tried every shots available but nothing worked. In 2015, my neurologist and I decided to go with natural treatment and was introduced to Mayaka Natural Clinic natural organic MS Herbal formula, i had a total decline of symptoms with this treatment, the numbness, terrible back pains, stiffness, body weakness, double vision, depression and others has subsided. Visit Mayaka Natural Clinic official website www. mayakanaturalclinic. com This treatment is a breakthrough for all suffering from Multiple sclerosis, i am strong again!

Been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2015, and I was a woman of 50. They put me on Rebif which I took until 2017 and was switched to Copaxone. I had two relapses on Rebif, none so far on Copaxone. I do notice my balance was getting worse, and my memory, i had no choice to sick for other solution and I was introduce to multivitamincare .org which I purchase the MS herbal formula from the org, the herbal supplement has successfully  get rid of my multiple sclerosis and reversed all symptoms after using the herbs as the Dr said , this is almost a miracle and do believe multivitamincare .org herbal cure will be recognize globally because am sure the world are yet to see their wonderful work.

I was a patient diagnosed with MS and I'm living proof that you can be cured from multiple sclerosis. I was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis in 2020, after finally receiving the MRI I had been waiting on for years. The MRI showed that I had a lot of lesions on my spine, more than I could count, but only three on my brain, two of which looked active. The neurologist explained that the lesions on my spine attribute to my physical disability. My mobility was seriously affected afterwards so I was glad I could rest on my sofa, I would have struggled to walk out of the hospital and the car ride home would have been painful. I was cured naturally with the use of Dr Sims Gomez Herbs A Clinic with model Herbal Formula, within three weeks I was recovering. In 2021 I began seeing Dr Gomez Sims, who specializes in internal and pulmonary medicine at drsimsgomezherbs . com).

I was diagnosed with PPMS in January 2018 and my neurologist put me on OCREVUS. At the time of diagnosis to MS I just had a little numbness in left hand and a little weakness in right leg but now after two years and three times OCREVUS Infusion which was supposed to help me and slow down the disease progression but on the contrary I am using walker for little walking at home with lack of balance and too much spasticity, weakness, numbness, bladder issue, low back and neck pains!!! I think this drug destroyed my life and I think if I hadn't used this drug my MS disease wouldn’t progressed at this level but I had no other choice because my neurologist said this is the only medication for PPMS!!! There has been little if any progress in finding a reliable treatment. Acupuncture eased my anxiety a bit. I was introduced to Health Herbs Clinic and their effective Multiple Sclerosis treatment. When I started the MS treatment I felt like a miracle has happened. Feel as good as I can feel. Started driving including on a freeway.! The herbal treatment is a sensation.. “Just google openpaymentsdata and see how much your doctor is getting paid ! AWESOME!!! They make money while we suffer.” I Just wanted to share for people suffering from this disease to visit healthherbsclinic. com it’s a 10 out of 10 from me! I Adhere anyone reading this to try natural approach, I’m 55 and never been this healthier.

I usually search on Youtube for any interesting documentaries. Whilst looking up youtube videos I came across a documentary on people who suffer Multiple sclerosis (MS) and their real treatment from MADIBAHERBALCENTER.COM I had never heard of this crippling and debilitating disease affecting a lot of Americans. It is very tortuous to watch and hear patients who suffer. It is more like a combination of various diseases all put into one. Like a person who has suffered a stroke, plus someone suddenly becoming paralysed, cancer etc. but I also get to understand that there has been a successful cure to this disease from MADIBAHERBALCENTER.COM It is too much for a patient to endure such as they slowly begin to pass away if the right medication is not taken .Having a positive mind is a powerful tool .My prayers go out to Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients and their caregivers.
